Dwelling Fire Insurance Products
Dwelling Fire Policies provide the owners of the property insurance coverage for physical damage to the structure of the home caused by fire, lightning, wind, hail, ice, snow or other covered perils. Tenants must purchase their own insurance for contents coverage. All policies are subject to conditions and exclusions of the policy purchased and options and endorsements applicable.
An inspection is required on homes over 5 years old.
Flood and Earthquake are not covered perils under standard insurance policies. Flood Coverage can be purchased through our independent agents or through the federal government (FEMA) at www.floodsmart.gov.
Dwelling Fire (TDP+) $400,000 Maximum Limit
- Replacement Cost on Dwelling and the broadest coverage of perils we offer for dwelling fire policies. ARI DP 42 RCLS
- Covered Perils: Fire and Lightning, Sudden and accidental damage from smoke, windstorm, hurricane and hail, explosion, aircraft and vehicles, riot and civil commotion and vandalism and malicious mischief. With the TDP-1 Plus: (ARI DP 42 APC) endorsement Additional Covered Perils: Sudden and Accidental Discharge of Water or Steam from a plumbing, heating or A/C System, Falling Trees or Limbs, Objects Falling from Weight of Ice, Snow or Sleet, Collapse of Building and Breakage of Glass.

Dwelling Fire (TDP - Texas Dwelling Policy – Form 1) $400,000 Maximum Limit
- Actual cash value coverage on dwelling fire, subject to conditions and exclusions.
- Covered Perils: Fire and Lightning, Sudden and accidental damage from smoke, windstorm, hurricane and hail, explosion, aircraft and vehicles, riot and civil commotion and vandalism and malicious mischief.
